‘1.5 kg gold, 13 kg silver, liquor worth crores, cars and houses’ This government employee found to be Dhankuber in ACB raid

Udaipur : Anti Corruption Bureau i.e. ACB in Udaipur has taken major action against Divisional Consumer Protection Officer Jaimal Singh Rathod in the case of disproportionate assets. The raid lasted for several hours, in which jewelery worth lakhs of rupees, documents of properties worth crores of rupees, expensive vehicles and more than 100 expensive liquor bottles were recovered from their premises.

The reason behind this action was that ACB had received a confidential information, according to which Rathod had acquired assets illegally by misusing his position. ACB raided four locations, Jaimal’s residence, hotel, ancestral village and other places. Evidence was collected against the benefits he received under the case registered against Rathore. The properties found in the raid led by ACB Deputy Inspector General Rajendra Prasad Goyal included a house in Sardarpura Scheme, a luxurious hotel on Sajjangarh Road, and a hotel in Bhilwara. Contains several residential plots. Apart from this, gold and silver jewelery and cash have also been recovered from Jaimal’s residence. There is also a four-storey hotel Manvilas Resort in the name of Rathod’s wife and son, in which investments worth crores of rupees were found. This hotel also has a rooftop restaurant. Around 100 expensive liquor bottles and remains belonging to wildlife were also found during the raid. For which the concerned police station has been informed.
