10 bed ICU ready in Central Hospital before the arrival of CM Yogi

Mahakumbh Nagar, 6 December (IANS). This time special arrangements are being made to take care of the devotees coming from India and abroad for the Mahakumbh. As per the intention of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, preparations are being made on a war footing in the fair area to realize the plan of a healthy Mahakumbh.

In this Mahakumbh, specialist doctors are being deployed on a large scale to take care of the health of devotees and Mahatmas. In this sequence, before the arrival of CM Yogi on Saturday, a 100-bed hospital is almost ready at the Parade Ground in Mahakumbh Nagar, which also has a 10-bed ICU.

Dr. Gaurav Dubey, senior medical officer looking after the responsibility of the Central Hospital, said that our preparations are strong to ensure that the devotees coming to Mahakumbh do not face any kind of problem. A 100-bed hospital is almost ready in the parade ground. Even before the arrival of CM Yogi, a 10-bed ICU has been prepared in the Central Hospital by Friday evening. Army and Medanta Hospital have jointly prepared it according to the needs of the devotees. Every kind of necessary medical treatment will be provided here in emergency situations. All necessary machines have been installed for this.

Dr. Gaurav Dubey said that during the fair, doctors will be deployed 24 hours a day, where facilities will be available as per the unlimited OPD capacity. He said that separate male, female and children wards have been prepared in the hospital. Apart from this, delivery room, emergency ward and doctors’ room are also being built. Special arrangements have also been made for medical examination. Along with OPD, X-ray, ultrasound and ECG rooms have also been prepared.

Along with the Central Hospital, two hospitals of 25 beds each in Arail and Jhunsi and eight small hospitals of 20 beds each with special facilities are also getting ready to take care of the devotees. Apart from this, two hospitals have also been arranged for the prevention of infectious diseases, where specialist doctors will be deployed.
