Dausa News Desk: A young man crushed 10 people with his car in a dispute over firecrackers at a wedding ceremony. There was hue and cry on the spot after the incident. People were lying injured on the ground and screaming.
The injured were taken to Lalsot Hospital, where after first aid, 7 people were referred to Jaipur in critical condition. Police is busy searching for the accused youth. The incident took place in Lalsot police station area of Dausa district.
There was a dispute between the groom and the bride’s party
According to the information, the girl of Kailash Meena, resident of Ladpura village, was married. The procession had come from Bhagwatpura of Niwai. Lalsot MLA Ram Vilas Meena also attended the wedding ceremony.
At around 9.30 pm, there was a dispute between the groom and a person from the bride’s side regarding burning of firecrackers. During this time, a young man participating in the wedding procession, in anger, crushed about 10 people with his car and fled from the spot. After this incident there was an outcry on the spot.
MLA took the injured to hospital
MLA Ram Vilas Meena said- I had come to attend the wedding ceremony. A wedding procession was coming to the girl’s house. There was a dispute regarding burning of firecrackers on the way. During this, a wedding procession crushed the people who had come to attend the wedding.
The MLA said- I was in the tent during the incident. When we heard screams from outside, we ran outside. After this, information was received about the entire incident. We immediately took the injured to the hospital in our vehicles and informed the police.
