Beijing, December 11 (IANS). Chinese President Xi Jinping met with leaders of major international economic organizations involved in the “1+10” dialogue in the country’s capital Beijing. During the meeting, Xi reaffirmed China’s commitment to enhancing high-level opening-up.
On December 9, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang also held “1+10” talks with representatives of relevant international economic organizations in Beijing. Li stressed China’s willingness to promote the healthy and sustainable development of the global economy through cooperation with various parties.
Many Chinese experts believe that it is important to hold “1+10” talks at this time. The world economy is currently facing significant challenges, and issues such as unilateralism and protectionism are worsening. As such, China should safeguard free trade and economic globalization by strengthening multilateralism and cooperation with major international economic organizations.
Additionally, experts noted that the “1+10” dialogue has promoted discussion about promoting strong and sustainable growth in the global economy. As the world’s attention shifts towards China, the country aims to demonstrate its responsibility as a major global player and build an open world economic system with other countries.
