Bikaner : 2 soldiers committed suicide in 18 hours in Bikaner. At 12:30 pm on Thursday, BSF head constable Banshilal Saraswat (41) committed suicide by hanging himself with a rope in the basement of his house. Was serving the nation while being in BSF for 22 years. Earlier, at 7 pm on Wednesday, Army soldier Santosh Panwar (30), resident of Nashik (Maharashtra), posted at Mahajan Field Firing Range, had hanged himself in his room. Fellow soldiers knocked on the door of his room for a long time. When no response was received and the door was broken, he was found hanging from the fan. Police have not found any suicide note in both the cases.
Committed suicide in the basement of the house
Jayanarayan Vyas Colony Police Station Officer Surendra Pachar said – Information about suicide of BSF jawan Banshilal Saraswat was received in Shivbari. His body was hanging from the fan in the basement of the house. Banshilal was posted in BSF for 22 years. He was on the post of head constable. Regarding the matter, Banshilal’s younger brother Damodar told that he did not have any kind of problem. We did not find any suicide note.
The house was built near the BSF range.
Banshilal’s brother Damodar said- During his 22 years of service in BSF, Banshilal lived in different parts of the country. For this reason, a house was built in Shivbari area, located 1 km away from BSF Range Headquarters. The children are being educated in Bikaner only. In such a situation, he rarely came to his village Hemera. He used to come to the village only on special occasions. According to the information, the reason for Banshilal’s suicide is not yet clear. He was wearing shoes at the time of suicide. Was wearing a khadi muffler.

When the friends became suspicious, they called from outside the room, but there was no response. They knocked on the door for a long time, but when the gate did not open, they broke it and went inside. Santosh was found hanging in the room. After getting information about suicide, Mahajan police reached the spot. The reasons for suicide have not been revealed yet.
