Admission is given in the examination only after strict scrutiny. Regarding such a large number of candidates not coming, the selection board says that the candidates did not come after filling the form. If we had known in advance, we would have managed with only 600 examination centres. We do not need to create 942 centers in the state. Now the exam will also be held on 2nd and 3rd December. Board Chairman Alok Raj and the flying squads formed for the examination visited several examination centers in Jaipur. During this period, at many centers only one speculum was found in the examination room instead of two. Instructions were given to take action on the absence of inspectors.

Examination held at 130 centers

130 centers were made for the examination in the capital Jaipur. A total of 86702 candidates were to appear for the examination in both the shifts. But only 50985 candidates came to take the exam. 35717 candidates remained absent in the examination. Attendance in Jaipur was 59 percent.

226 inspectors did not come despite being on duty, notice issued

Teachers were put on duty as invigilators in the capital by the Education Department. Many of these teachers did not reach the centres. This caused difficulty in conducting the examination and there was a shortage of invigilators. The education department has taken this seriously. The department has instructed the directors of secondary and elementary education to take action against such teachers. District Education Officer Secondary Sunil Singhal said that not reaching the center despite duty shows negligence. It won’t be tolerated. Action is being taken to issue notices to 226 teachers in the district. The exam will be held in two more days on 2-3 December. Even now, if they do not reach the examination centres, they will have to face serious consequences.
