Jaipur : The Yuva Sambal Yojana amount given to the unemployed youth of Rajasthan is under eclipse. In some districts, the youth eligible for the scheme are not getting the scheme amount for the last one year. Because of this, 2 lakh youth eligible for the scheme are very worried about it. Under this scheme, currently eligible unemployed youth are given Rs 4 thousand per month and disabled people, transgenders and girls are given Rs 4 thousand 500 per month. This amount helps them while preparing for competitive exams but they are worried due to not getting this amount for months.
what is the plan
Under the Chief Minister Yuva Sambal Yojana, this scheme was started with the aim of providing support to the graduate youth of the state for two years in case of unemployment. Under this scheme, 2 lakh youth are given benefits every month. For this, the age limit for general category applicants is 30 years and the maximum age limit for Scheduled Caste/Tribe, Transgender, women and disabled youth is 35 years. Ten percent of the beneficiaries of this scheme in the state i.e. more than 20 thousand eligible youth are in Nagaur. But these eligible youth have not received this amount after October 2023. About 10 thousand youth in Dausa are eligible for the scheme. He has not received the amount for the last 6 months.

Deepak, a resident of Nagaur, says, “Earlier, when a fixed amount was received, help was provided in books and other works. But now there is a problem due to not getting this amount. I went to the office several times but every time I was told that we have not processed it. It will be credited to your account once it gets approved. It’s been a whole year of waiting.” Raghavendra Singh, Assistant Director of Skill Planning and Entrepreneurship Department, says, “The Nagaur District Office has prepared the bill till September. The amount till October last year has been transferred to the accounts of the eligible youth. After getting the financial approval, the remaining amount will also be transferred to the account of eligible youth. It will go into their account.” Actually, the amount of the scheme is pending since 2022-23. According to the eligible youth, the budget is still not sufficient. Therefore, the amount to be given to thousands of youth is pending.
