Sikar : A different sight was witnessed on Tuesday at the famous Baba Shyam Mandir in Khatu Shyam Ji town of Sikar. Armed ATS commandos suddenly arrived at the Shyam Mandir after receiving information about terrorists hiding there. The ATS commandos gunned down two dummy terrorists in the temple committee office premises. Other people present in the temple were stunned to see this scene.
Information received about terrorist hiding
Actually, every year lakhs of devotees visit Khatu Shyamji temple in Rajasthan to have darshan of Baba Shyam. A mock drill was organized by ATS in the temple today (September 3) to ensure the safety of the devotees and to deal with emergency situations. ATS received information that terrorists are hiding in Baba Shyam’s temple and have taken the employees of the temple committee hostage.
ATS killed two dummy terrorists
On receiving the information, the ATS team reached the temple premises in a planned manner with weapons and strong arrangements. The ATS team killed two dummy terrorists on the spot in the temple committee office premises and recovered documents along with two rifles from both the dummy terrorists. During the mock drill conducted by the ATS, the devotees who had come to visit Baba Shyam in the temple were shocked.

Mock drill was conducted in the temple as a precaution
However, when the devotees were informed about the mock drill of ATS, they heaved a sigh of relief. ATS SI Harikishan Yadav informed that the mock drill has been organised as a precaution and to deal with such situations.
