Sikar News Desk: Taking action, Jajod police station of Sikar district has arrested 2 accused in the case of assault, robbery and attempt to rape a woman. The accused had tried to rape a woman who had gone to graze cattle in the fields and fled after looting jewellery. Giving information, the police said – On August 28, 2024, at around 12:15 pm, the woman had gone to graze cattle in the field near the river. The accused, already armed with weapons, sitting in the river attempted to gang-rape the woman. The accused tore the woman’s clothes.
Later, at gunpoint, the accused threatened the woman and stole the jewelery she was wearing. When the woman protested, the accused sat on her chest. Police registered the case and started investigation and formed a team to arrest the accused. Police raided Neemkathana, Khetri, Chapoli, Kotdi Luharwas, Khatushyamji, Sirsa, Haryana and surrounding areas in search of the accused. The accused were searched. Meanwhile, on Thursday, the police arrested the accused Sumer Singh (26), resident of Ranoli, Rajkumar (24), resident of Kotdi Khandela. At present the police is interrogating the arrested accused.
