20 electric buses will run in Alwar Sariska Sanctuary till June next year

Alwar : Alwar 20 electric buses will operate in Sariska by June next year. The state government has sought additional time of 6 months from the Supreme Court for this. However, till now no major preparations have been made by the Sariska administration for driving electric vehicles. Meetings have definitely taken place. A decision has to be taken at the government level on the introduction and operation of electric buses.

Central Empowered Committee had presented the report: The Central Empowered Committee of the Supreme Court had visited Sariska this year and seen the condition of vehicles plying till Pandupol. Administration, Sariska, Transport Corporation, Transport Department and Tourism Department held a meeting some time ago and brainstormed on running electric buses. It was decided that 20 buses would be operated, but the buses would be taken by the industries under social responsibility. There was discussion regarding their operation, arrangement of drivers and making charging points. However, till now the proper plan has not been approved. It is said that a meeting will be held at the government level in this month itself. The decision will be taken there only.
