Alwar : Special Judge POCSO Act No. 1 Jagendra Kumar Aggarwal has found the accused Monu alias Taplu of Haryana Nuh guilty in the case of kidnapping and raping a minor and has sentenced him to 20 years of imprisonment and a fine of Rs 18 thousand. Besides, considering the minor age of the victim in the case, a recommendation has also been made to the Legal Services Authority to provide Rs 3 lakh under the Victim Compensation Scheme.
Special Public Prosecutor Roshandin Khan said that the family members had lodged a missing report of the victim in the Bagad police station. On which the victim was recovered from the clutches of the accused by the police from Haryana, the victim recorded her statement in the court and narrated her ordeal. The victim told the court that the accused Monu abducted her on a motorcycle and took her to Haryana on December 19, 2023, around 9 am, threatening to kill her family members. There she was held hostage in a rented room and raped. In the case, after hearing both the parties, the court has sentenced the accused Monu, finding him guilty of kidnapping and raping him.
