‘2000 fountains run on electric motors’ The mysterious palace of Rajasthan where thousands of colorful fountains run on their own

Bharatpur : Like every year, Shri Jawahar Exhibition and Braj Yatra Fair is going to start from 31st August in Deeg district of Rajasthan, which has a distinct identity in the world as the city of water palaces, which will run till 10th September. The main center of attraction in this fair is considered to be the colorful fountains running in the palaces of Deeg.

250 years ago Maharaja Surajmal had constructed it

About 2 thousand colorful fountains installed in the palaces were constructed by Maharaja Suraj Mal about 250 years ago. Such technology was used in its construction that colorful fountains operated in the entire palace without electricity and motor. Even today, these fountains are operated twice a year during the programs in this Jal Mahal, which people come here from far and wide to see. These fountains in the palace have been constructed in such a way that it keeps the temperature of the palace cool even in the summer season.

The fair will be inaugurated on Sunday at 9 am

District Collector Shruti Bhardwaj said that Jawahar Exhibition Huge Fair is being organized from 31st August. All preparations have been completed for this. Instructions have been given to the Municipal Council to ensure that people visiting the fair do not face any kind of problem. The inauguration ceremony of the fair will be held on 31st August (Sunday) at 9 am. Deeg Kumher MLA Dr. Shailesh Digambar Singh will be the chief guest of the colorful fountain program at Jal Mahal on Monday at 5 pm. Wrestling competition, Dola Maru singing, culture program, Kavi Sammelan, Kalbelia program, Nautanki program etc. will be organized on the occasion of this 10-day fair.
