23 scouts and guides selected for Nagaur Governor Award

Nagaur : 23 scout-guides of the Government Higher Secondary School, who returned from the testing camp held at the State Award Training Center in Tausar, Nagaur, have been selected for the Governor’s Award. All the Scout-Guides who returned from the camp were honored when they returned to school. Principal Sanjya Saxena said- 15 scouts and 8 guides of Government Higher Secondary School, Edwa had participated in the camp organized at State Award Training Center Tausar. Scouter Gopal Lomrod and Guider Supriya Gehlot who accompanied the scout-guide were also honoured.

Sangya Saxena, head of the organization, said – Scout-Guide teaches us to be disciplined and restrained in life along with school life. By joining this, a person remains ready to serve the nation. The spirit of enthusiasm, humanity, leadership, self-respect and self-reliance etc. gets strengthened in the children. United States Award Guide Recommendation Camp of Nagaur and Didwana-Kuchaman district has been completed in Tausar. In the camp, 9 rules of scout, 3 pledge, camp life, process of flag hoisting, first aid, pioneering, mapping, lacing, knowledge of compass, making different types of gadgets with the help of wood and rope, making shelter using cloth and various other things. Types of camp arts etc. were tested.
