235 patients took advantage of Sawai madhopur cataract checkup camp.

Sawai Madhopur News Desk: A free cataract checkup and lens transplant camp was organized on Tuesday in Baunli town of Sawai Madhopur. The camp organized under the aegis of Bharat Vikas Parishad was inaugurated ceremoniously. SDM Chandraprakash Verma, ophthalmologist Dr. Sida and many public representatives were present as chief guests in the program. The program was started with lighting of lamp in front of the pictures of Maa Bharati and Swami Vivekananda. After this the program was formally started with the national anthem.

A team of expert doctors from Jaipur examined the eyes of local patients. 235 patients were registered during the camp. Branch President Govind Bundela said that 91 patients were identified for operation during the camp. Out of which 51 patients were sent to Jaipur for free operation on Tuesday itself.

Addressing the program, SDM Chandra Prakash Verma expressed gratitude to Bharat Vikas Parishad for its social concern. Also shared thoughts about the importance of such free medical camps. Branch President Govind Bundela expressed his gratitude to everyone. The program was conducted by branch member poet Ashish Mittal. Many people including provincial project in-charge Banwari Lal Goyal, women head Jyoti Soyal, branch secretary Naresh Goyal were present during the program.
