Tonk News Desk: On Saturday, the second day of the three-day International Art Festival, nine artists from Nepal and 18 states of the country depicted their diverse arts on canvas. The famous artists who came here, considering this festival as a big festival of the country, stressed the need for such events. It is noteworthy that this art festival has been organized every year for the last 17 years for three days. In the 18th event, the artists said that if the thinking is creative according to the times, then the artist is no less than anyone even in this digital age. There is no challenge before such artists.
They themselves seem to be challenging digital. Artists from Nepal appreciated the goodwill and hospitality of Tonk and described this event as an important step for exchange of arts. Professor Manisha Chaubisa of Meera Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Udaipur said that the artists are solo artists, hence this art festival is important for them. Sunena Thakur of Nepal praised her first visit to this art festival and called it an important step in the field of art. Ajay Deshar of Nepal said that he studies the disappearing heritage and also works to depict it through his art. I came to this event in Tonk for the first time. It felt very good and I liked the goodwill here. I also got a chance to get acquainted with many new arts.
Himachal Pradesh Central University Prof. Nirupama Singh said that she has come to this art festival many times. This is an important step for the exchange of art and the development of art. Dr. Hanuman Singh Khareda, Mahesh Gurjar, Shaista Khan etc., who struggled for the success of the art festival, said that along with promoting art, this art festival has also taught new arts to new artists. This art festival will continue till 17th November. In this, along with children’s painting competition, awards etc. will also be given to famous artists.
