Churu : Shooting instructor Karanveer Singh, director of the Chinkara Shooting Range operated at the District Stadium, said that 28 players from the range have qualified for the National in the pre-national tournaments held recently in Goa, Trivandrum, Bhopal and Delhi. Five players from the range operated in Bissau have also qualified for the National.
He informed that the national competition of rifle will start at Bhopal MP Shooting and the national competition of pistol will start from 13th December at Dr. Karni Singh Shooting, Delhi. So far 280 children have passed out nationally from both the ranges. Apart from this, many children have also been selected for Team India. The coach said that from the year 2018 to 2024, about 280 players have passed out in the national team. Out of which about 19 players have got jobs in medicine, education and defence. He told that the national competition of rifle and pistol will be held from December 13 to January 7.
