Churu : For the first time in 11 years, under the Senior Citizen Pilgrimage Scheme, the Devasthan Department will make the elderly travel in AC train. All these AC trains will run from Bikaner division. Under the plan, four trains will run from Bikaner in two months. Of these, three will be AC and one non-AC train. From November 26 to December 24, pilgrimage for senior citizens will be conducted through six trains from different places of the state. Out of these six trains, 4 trains will run from Bikaner division. One train will run from Jaipur and one train from Udaipur. One train each running from Bikaner, Jaipur and Udaipur will be non-AC. Among the trains running from Bikaner division, AC trains will run from Hanumangarh to Rameshwaram. This train will be run from Hanumangarh to Suratgarh via Bikaner.
Gaurav Soni, Assistant Commissioner of Devasthan Department, Bikaner, said that the first AC train from Hanumangarh to Rameshwaram will leave on November 26. The second AC train from Bikaner station will run for Rameshwaram only. This train will depart on 6 December. The third AC train will run from Bikaner to Ayodhya, Haridwar and Rishikesh. This train will leave from Bikaner on 16th December. One more train will go here from Bikaner on 8th December which will be non-AC. This train will leave from Bikaner and go to Haridwar, Rishikesh and Ayodhya via Suratgarh and Hanumangarh.
