3 criminals arrested with weapons in Chittorgarh, pistol seized

Chittorgarh : 3 miscreants with 2 pistols have been arrested in 2 separate operations during the blockade in Sadar police station area in Chittorgarh. All three accused are involved in online betting. One of these accused was also found with Rs 50 thousand in cash. The police confiscated both the pistols and the money. It is being estimated that this amount has also been earned through speculation.

Sadar police station had received information that some people were carrying pistols in two different vehicles. On this, two teams were formed under the direction of Police Officer Gajendra Singh. A team set up a blockade outside Senti Chowki. A black colored car was seen coming from Chittor city. When signaled to stop the car, the driver stopped the car on the side. On asking the name, the driver told his father-in-law, Prakash (30), son of Ramesh Chaudhary, resident of Shambhupura. Due to strong information from the informer, the police searched the accused and his vehicle. During the search, a country-made pistol, two live cartridges and Rs 50,000 in cash were found from the dashboard of the car. Police arrested the accused. Also, pistol, cartridges and money were seized and a case was registered.

Shortly after this, on receiving information, another team set up a blockade outside Senti Chowki. Another black colored vehicle was seen coming from the city area. When the driver was stopped and interrogated, he revealed his name to be Ramesh Chandra (24), son of Bhagwan Lal, resident of Pandoli, Chanderiya. A young man named Kalu Singh (28), son of Prithvi Singh Rawat, resident of Barara, was sitting in the seat next to him. During a search of the car, a pistol with one round magazine loaded was found in the trunk of the dashboard. The police seized it and arrested both the accused. Information is being collected from where the weapons were brought. By the way, one of these accused is the district president of Rajasthan Jat Mahasabha.

The business of the accused is related to online betting

During interrogation, accused Prakash told that he deals in online betting and also provides betting ID to other customers. At the same time, Rameshchandra told during interrogation that he and his partner create online betting ID from Joganiya book and also play online betting. These two accused also make other people customers and provide them with betting IDs. ASI Shankarlal, Dadu Singh, Constable Bhagwat Singh, Bhajanlal were involved in both these actions.
