Jaipur : Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has given a gift of Rs 30 thousand crore to the state on 9 projects including Jaipur Northern Ring Road. The length of these roads will be 800 km. 6500 crores will be spent on Jaipur Northern Ring Road. It will be of 110 km. This has been announced by Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari in the Infrastructure of Rising Rajasthan – An Important Link in the Supply Chain Sectoral Session. Gadkari told the officials that after the construction of the road, the value of land increases 5 times. Build roads with JDA and give 40 percent developed land to the farmers out of the unacquired land. So that there is no opposition from the Bhoomiputra farmer. 20 percent will be spent on developing infrastructure and 40 percent of the land will belong to the government. Gadkari also took a positive stance on the proposal of nine greenfield highways.
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the infrastructure picture of the state is changing due to the efforts of our double engine government in sectors like roads, railways, airports, irrigation projects and energy. Traffic has been facilitated by construction of 2 thousand kilometer long highways in the desert area of the state and construction of bypasses and ring roads in many towns and cities.
Announcement of these projects in the state
Rs 6500 crore has been approved for Jaipur Northern Ring Road. It will be of 110 km. NHAI and JDA will work. Out of the unacquired land, 40 percent developed land will be given to the farmers. So that there is no opposition from the Bhoomiputra farmer. 20 percent will be spent on developing infrastructure.
Agra Greenfield Highway will be built from Kotputli. This will cost Rs 6800 crore. The work will be completed in September.
Amritsar Greenfield Highway will be constructed from Jaipur-Kishangarh-Jodhpur. This will be done at a cost of Rs 12 thousand crores. Its DPR is being prepared. Work will start soon.
The elevated road from Raipur to Jassakheda in Pali will be constructed at a cost of Rs 538 crore.
Road construction from Nagaur to Netra will be done at a cost of Rs 1400 crore. One and a half hour time will be saved for those going from Jodhpur to Delhi.
Bypass in Sikar-Laxmangarh-Fatehpur will be constructed at a cost of Rs 500 crore.
Jhunjhunu-Chirawa-Singhana-Pacheri road will be constructed at a cost of Rs 1400 crore.
Singhana-Khetri-Jasrapur-Naglisaledi-Bhatiwad road will be constructed at a cost of Rs 600 crore.
Improvement work in the landslide area of Kundal-Jhadaud section will be done at a cost of Rs 400 crore.
