Delhi : A 34-year-old man, convicted of robbery and on parole, was shot dead by three unknown assailants in east Delhi’s Jaffrabad area on Friday (May 10), police said. The deceased was identified as Nazim, a resident of Chauhan town in Jaffrabad district.
North East Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Joy Dirkie said that the police control room received a call about the incident at 8:30 in the evening, after which a police team rushed to the scene.

“At least three boys shot Nazim multiple times and he died on the spot,” he said, adding that Nazim had four criminal cases against him in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, including murder, robbery and under the NDPS Act.
He was convicted of theft and released a month ago.
“The motive behind the murder is yet to be ascertained and crime and forensic laboratory teams are at the spot,” the DCP said, adding that the police team tasked with investigating the case is scanning CCTV cameras in the area to identify the culprits. And catch them.
