Jaipur : A car and a canter collided in Gurugram district of Haryana on Sunday night. The accident was so severe that four people travelling in the car died while two others were injured. All these people were travelling in a car and were returning to Rajasthan after immersing the ashes of their family member.
The family was from Neemkathana in Rajasthan
The accident took place on Kundli Manesar Palwal Expressway in Gurugram. Brijesh Kaushik, his wife Sunita, mother Kamala Devi and sister-in-law Kiran, residents of Neemkathana district of Rajasthan, died in the accident. Himanshu and Akash, who are real brothers, were injured.
The family was returning after immersing the ashes in Haridwar
About 5 days ago, Brijesh’s father Roodmal, who had retired from a government job, passed away. His family members had gone to Haridwar in two vehicles to immerse his ashes in Haridwar. This entire accident happened when the driver of his vehicle tried to overtake a canter going in front. After this, the vehicle overturned several times.
He also went away along with the old man’s remains.
The deceased Brijesh Kaushik is a cloth merchant. When this accident happened, another car belonging to his family was coming behind. They reached the spot and after that all the passengers in the damaged car were taken to the hospital where four were declared dead by the doctors. The last rites of all of them will be performed in their native village Hasampur in Neemkathana. The family members said that when the elder in the family died, everyone thought that the elder has spent so many years with us, so why not everyone go to immerse his ashes. But they did not know that something like this would happen…
