Alwar : In the case of recovery of 60 kg beef and 10 liters of liquor by Govindgarh Police 9 years ago, Additional District and Sessions Judge Gopal Saini, after hearing the arguments of the parties and opposition, sentenced the accused Juharu Khan to 4 years of rigorous imprisonment and Sentenced to a fine of Rs 25000.
ASI Prabhudayal had filed a report in the case on October 16, 2015, in which it was stated that he went on night patrol by car along with constables Bharat Singh, Narayan and driver Kamlesh. On October 16, at 5 am, during the blockade near Chimarwada Road gas warehouse, Juharu Khan and Farooq Khan, residents of Molia, were going on a motorcycle coming from Govindgarh. There were plastic sacks hanging on both sides of the bike. Upon investigation, 60 kg of meat was found and a 10 liter plastic jar was found. In which there was liquor. During investigation, both the accused took advantage of the opportunity and ran away. After this, the police team formed arrested the accused and presented the challan.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Gopal Saini dropped the proceedings after the death of one of the accused, while Juharu Khan, 42, was sentenced to 4 years rigorous imprisonment and 12 months imprisonment after being found guilty under the Bovine Animal Act 1995 and Section 16/54. Sentenced to a fine of Rs 25 thousand.
