4,000 kg of vegetarian food is being prepared at Ajmer Dargah Sharif on PM Modi’s birthday

Ajmer : 4000 kg vegetarian langar will be prepared today at the Badi Deeg located at the famous Khwaja Garib Nawaz Dargah in Ajmer, Rajasthan, on the occasion of PM Modi’s 74th birthday. This will be the first time that such special arrangements have been made on the occasion of the birthday of a Prime Minister of the country.

4000 kg vegetarian langar will be prepared on PM’s birthday

On this special occasion, these special arrangements have been made at Khwaja Garib Nawaz Dargah by the Chishtia Foundation and the Indian Minority Foundation. Syed Salman Chishti, President of the Chishti Foundation, said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has become the Prime Minister of the country for the third time. Every year, a chaadar is presented to Khwaja Garib Nawaz on the occasion of Urs on his behalf. PM Modi also has great faith in Khwaja Nawaz.

4,000 kg of vegetarian langar will be prepared from 100 kg of desi ghee

On the occasion of Prime Minister Modi’s 74th birthday, 4,000 kg of vegetarian langar will be distributed among the common people, needy and destitute at the world famous Ajmer Dargah of Khwaja Garib Nawaz. This langar will be made from rice, pure ghee and dry fruits. All preparations for cooking the langar have been completed.

Langar will be packed in 4000 boxes

Giving information, Syed Salman Chishti, President of Chishti Foundation, said that about 4000 boxes have been prepared for distributing langar. After cooking, the langar will be packed properly in these boxes. After this, it will be distributed among the pilgrims, helpless and needy people present in the Dargah.

This event will be held at the dargah throughout the day

The Indian Minority Foundation and Chishti Foundation are decorating the Badi Deg complex near the Buland Darwaza of Khwaja Gareeb Nawaz’s Dargah with fragrant colourful flowers. After the Asthana Sharif ritual at 10:00 pm, water will be poured into the Badi Deg. After that the stove will be lit. After the water is heated for about one to one and a half hours, rice, desi ghee, dry fruits, rose water will be added to the Deg and after about three to four hours the vegetarian langar will be ready. After that the pilgrims present in the Dargah will be seated and the langar will be distributed and the langar will be packed in about 4000 boxes and distributed at different places.
