Karauli : Karauli Under the Chief Minister Amrit Aahar (Anganwadi Milk Distribution Scheme), children aged 3 to 6 years coming to all the Anganwadi centers of the district will be fed hot sweet milk prepared from skimmed milk powder three days a week. On the occasion of completion of one year of the state government, the scheme will be launched at Anganwadi centers by feeding milk to the children at the scheduled time during breakfast. In this regard, the Director of Integrated Child Development Services has issued instructions to all the Women and Child Development Departments and Child Development Project Officers of the state including Karauli.
The number of children aged 3 to 6 years in Anganwadi centers in the district is 43 thousand 582. Milk powder will be supplied by the department on behalf of Rajasthan Cooperative Dairy Federation on quarterly basis as per the number of Aadhaar verified beneficiaries registered on Nutrition Tracker. 100 ml hot sweet milk will be served per beneficiary at the center itself.
Female supervisor will monitor and verify
center During the inspection, women supervisors will have to verify the receipt and distribution of skimmed milk powder at the centre. Also, children aged 3 to 6 years are being fed hot sweet milk of prescribed quantity at the Anganwadi center itself, this will have to be physically verified.
