Jaipur : On Sunday, the Pre-D.El.Ed exam organized by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University Kota concluded in Rajasthan. This exam was taken at 1917 centers in the state. A total of 6 lakh 45 thousand 254 candidates were registered for the exam, out of which 5 lakh 95 thousand 47 candidates were present (92.19 percent) and only 50 thousand 407 candidates were absent (7.81 percent). Vice Chancellor Professor Kailash Sodani and School Education Administrative Secretary Krishna Kunal kept constant monitoring from the control room and also inspected the examination centers.
Vice Chancellor Professor Sodani said that five dummy candidates were caught in this examination. He said that one dummy candidate was caught in Jalore and four in Barmer, against whom strict action is being taken by the administration. The Vice Chancellor said that the highest number of 56 thousand 519 candidates were registered in Jaipur, out of which 50 thousand 475 candidates appeared in the examination. 43 thousand 693 candidates were registered in Jodhpur, out of which 39 thousand 469 candidates appeared in the examination. In Kota, out of a total of 19 thousand 600 candidates, 18 thousand 333 candidates reached the examination centers. Personalized OMR sheets were used in the examination in which no irregularities of any kind were found.
Apart from the government press note, a dummy candidate has also been caught from Dholpur. According to the information received, a dummy candidate was caught giving the Pre-D.El.Ed exam in place of his cousin in Dholpur. After the dummy candidate was caught in Dholpur, the Navodaya principal handed him over to the police. According to the information received from Dholpur, during the Pre D.El.Ed exam held on Sunday, the dummy candidate was caught by the vigilance of the examiner at the examination center of Jawahar Navodaya School. The accused candidate had come to take the exam in place of his cousin. The matter was exposed when there was a difference in the appearance under the photo in the Aadhar card and the admit card. There was a stir at the examination center after the dummy candidate was caught. The school administration informed the police about the matter. The police reached the spot and caught the accused.
A dummy candidate who was giving the exam in place of his cousin was arrested in Dholpur
Sadar police station in-charge Ramnaresh Meena said that the school principal Archana had informed about a dummy candidate appearing for the exam at the Navodaya School examination centre. On the information, the police team reached the school and investigated the matter and found out that the arrested youth Satyendra Kushwaha was appearing for the exam in place of his cousin Sanjay Kushwaha. The accused Satyendra Kushwaha is said to be a resident of Ladampur village of Mania police station area. Sadar police station in-charge said that the accused youth was appearing for the exam in place of his cousin by sitting in room number 6 of the school. He was caught by the school staff after matching his Aadhar card. He said that after the school management gives a complaint, a case will be registered against the accused and action will be taken. At present, the school management and the police team are interrogating the arrested dummy candidate.

Police station in-charge Ramnaresh Meena said that the accused Satyendra Kushwaha had come to take the D.El.Ed exam in place of his cousin Sanjay Kushwaha. The accused was sitting in room number 6 of the examination. The examiner was matching the admit card with the Aadhar card of all the candidates. But during the document matching, the face of the accused Satyendra was found to be different from the admit card. The examiner immediately informed the school administration about the matter. When the school principal and all the staff investigated thoroughly, the accused Satyendra was found to be a dummy. Due to which there was a stir in the school. The school administration immediately informed the Sadar police station about the matter. The police have taken the accused Satyendra into custody and started interrogation.
