Jaipur : The budget session of Rajasthan Assembly is going to start from July 3. Just a day before this, on Tuesday, Bhajanlal government has transferred 6 IAS officers. Joint Administrative Secretary Kanishka Kataria has also issued a notification in this regard, in which information about the names of all 6 IAS, their current post and new post has been shared.
The first name in this list is of 1993 batch IAS officer Sandeep Verma. Currently, he is holding the post of Additional Chief Secretary in the Public Works Department located in Jaipur. Now he has been transferred from here and made the Chairman and Managing Director of Rajasthan State Warehousing Corporation located in Jaipur. Similarly, 1995 batch IAS officer Praveen Gupta has been transferred from the post of Chief Election Officer and ex-officio Principal Secretary of the Election Department located in Jaipur and made the Principal Secretary in the Public Works Department.
1997 batch IAS officer Naveen Mahajan has been relieved from the responsibility of Chairman and Managing Director of Rajasthan State Warehousing Corporation and has been given the responsibility of Chief Election Officer and ex-officio Principal Secretary of Election Department. Similarly, 2006 batch IAS officer Rohit Gupta has been appointed Commissioner of Industry, Commerce and Corporate Social Responsibility and (Investment and Non-Resident Indian), Investment Promotion Bureau. 2010 batch IAS officer Prakash Chandra Sharma has been appointed as Special Officer to Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma.
