639th Bhadwa fair of folk deity Baba Ramdev begins, huge crowd, watch video

Jodhpur : The 639th Bhadwa fair of folk god Baba Ramdev has started in Runicha Dham Ramdevra. The fair started with flag hoisting, Mangala Aarti, and wearing of golden crown. In such a situation, Runicha Dham Ramdevra echoed with the chants of Baba. Collector Gaurav Agarwal officially inaugurated the fair.

During this time, a huge crowd gathered at Baba Ramdev fair on Bhadwa Sudi Beej. A huge crowd gathered at the Samadhi of Baba Ramdev’s Guru Balinath in Masuria. Devotees from far flung areas visited to have darshan during Mangala Aarti. Devotees from different states across the country come to have darshan. According to tradition, Baba Ramdev fair has its own importance.

Devotees are praying to Baba Ramdev for peace and prosperity in the country and the state. MLA Mahant Pratap Puri and administrative officials greeted the devotees. During this, District Collector Pratap Singh, SP Sudhir Chaudhary, MLA Mahant Pratap Puri, Gadipati Rao Bhom Singh Tanwar, Pradhan Bhagwat Singh Tanwar, Municipal Council President Manish Purohit, Sarpanch Samandar Singh Tanwar were present.

The fair will be held in Runicha Dham till Purnima:

Let us tell you that a fair will be held at Runicha Dham Ramdevra from the second day of Bhadwa Shukla Paksha to the full moon day. Around 50 to 70 lakh devotees reach Runicha Dham Ramdevra for darshan during the fair.

Strong security arrangements:

In such a situation, tight security arrangements have been made in view of the Baba Ramdev fair. Tight security arrangements have been made under the direction of Police Commissioner Rajendra Singh.
People in plain clothes are also keeping an eye on the situation. People are being allowed to take turns in queues. Divisional Commissioner Pratibha Singh is constantly monitoring Jodhpur and Ramdevra. She is monitoring the arrangements at both the big temples. CCTV cameras are being used for monitoring. Also, a control room has been set up at the fair site.
