Bharatpur : On the occasion of the 68th Mahaparinirvan Diwas of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, a tribute meeting was organized in Ambedkar Park by Jatav Samaj Samiti in earnest on Friday. In the program, people of the society paid tribute to Dr. Ambedkar by garlanding his statue. Along with this, two minutes silence was also observed.
On this occasion, the speakers expressed their views on the life struggle of Dr. Ambedkar. He said that Baba Saheb was the architect of the Indian Constitution as well as a symbol of social harmony. Ambedkar dedicated his life to the welfare of the exploited and the deprived. Speakers said that Dr. Ambedkar used to say that snatched rights cannot be obtained by begging, they have to be acquired. People resolved to carry forward Ambedkar’s mission and works.
During this, Jatav Samaj Samiti President Dansingh Jatav, Kishanchand Verma, Naval Singh, Dinesh Jatav, former Municipal President Kamal Kishore, Sanjay Tiger, Ashish Kumar, Haribabu, Yogesh Kumar, Rajesh, Naval Mistry, Omi etc. were present.
