Jaisalmer : Jaisalmer 68th National School Basketball Competition for 14 years old students and 17 years old students category was organized in Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh. In which Rajasthan’s 14-year-old boys’ team defeated Delhi by 27-64 in the hardline match and 17-year-old Rajasthan’s boys’ team defeated Delhi by 38-66 in the hard-line match and captured the bronze medal.District Sports Official and coach of Rajasthan team, Rakesh Vishnoi said – 7 players of Jaisalmer Basketball Academy participated in both the Rajasthan teams, in which Rajasthan team won after 4 years in the 14-year-old competition and 17-year-old team won after 4 years. The school has won a medal at the national level after 10 years in the competition.

District Sports Officer Rakesh Vishnoi said that in the 14-year-old team of Rajasthan, four players of Jaisalmer Basketball Academy, Ajayraj Singh, captain of Rajasthan team, Mukesh Kumar, Shubhanshu, Dilip and in the 17-year-old team of the academy, Mohammad Raza, Sanskar Saini and Shailesh Kumar Meena played excellently. By performing well, he played an important role in helping the Rajasthan team win a medal. Both the teams worked tirelessly and made it to the semi-finals and won bronze medals.

A training camp was organized from 11 to 15 November at District Sports Training Center Indira Indoor Stadium, Jaisalmer. In which talented players of Rajasthan were selected and given regular training. Due to which Rajasthan team has won medal at school national level after 4 years in 14 years and after 10 years in 17 years. Coach Rajendra Singh Chauhan, Kshetra Pratap Singh Bhati, Hemant Rajasthan team manager Ujjwal Sharma, Kamlesh Singh, Neena Shah and Rajasthan team Virendra Singh, Sanjay Chura, Narpat Singh, Ratan Singh, Jhunjhar Singh, Satyanarayan Bhargava, Sawai Singh and Lil Singh were also present with the Rajasthan team. .
