Jaipur : Bhajanlal government in Rajasthan has opened a front against adulteration. After the initiative of CM Bhajanlal Sharma, a campaign against adulteration is being conducted on the instructions of Medical Minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar. Under this, thousands of kilos of mustard and ghee were seized by taking action at different places on Tuesday (22 October). However, this action has been taken on the suspicion of fake food. The sample has been sent for testing by the Food Department.
When mustard is taken in hand it becomes like clay
Under the direction of Food Commissioner Mr. Iqbal Khan, inspection action was taken in the agricultural produce market of Kishangarh Renwal under the leadership of Additional Commissioner Pankaj Ojha. On suspicion of being fake, the stock of about 7650 kg mustard filled in 125 bags was seized after sampling in the presence of market officials and police. This mustard seemed to be made primarily of clay. Additional Commissioner Pankaj Ojha said that this action has been taken on the suspicion of mustard being fake. As soon as mustard was taken in hand it became like clay. The sample has been sent to the Food Analysis Laboratory, Jaipur for testing. Further action will be taken after receiving the investigation report.
1244 kg ghee season
Similarly, the food safety team formed by District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni has Under the leadership of Commissioner Food Safety Pankaj Ojha, samples of ghee were taken from Neeraj Marketing Company, Surajpol Mandi and 1244 kg of Keshav brand ghee was seized on suspicion. In another action, samples of sweets were taken for testing by the Food Safety Team from Shiv Shakti Mishthan Bhandar, Agarwal Caters, RD Pethewala, Shri Ram Sweets Ramganj. About 100 kg of spoiled sugar syrup was also destroyed at RD Pethewala. Shopkeepers were given instructions to take special care to maintain cleanliness in their shops during Diwali and to make quality products.
