Jaisalmer : Jaisalmer Social Justice Empowerment Department, State Government organized a support camp in the premises of Panchayat Samiti Jaisalmer to provide facilities to the nomadic community (exempt, nomadic and semi-nomadic) for the social, educational and economic development of the weaker sections of the society. Assistant Director, Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Kumpsingh Rathore said that the beneficiaries of the nomadic community will be provided with various schemes like Voter ID, Jan Aadhar, Ration Card, Aadhaar, caste-origin residence proof. Letters, Nomad Identity Certificate, free land allotment to homeless persons, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, various social security schemes Palanhar, old age pension etc. are to be benefited from. For this, detailed information about the scheme was given to the beneficiaries present.
Camp in-charge Tehsildar Parasmal Rathod and Assistant Camp in-charge Development Officer Panchayat Samiti Jaisalmer Kailashchandra Paliwal said that in the camp, 78 nomad identity certificates, 9 Jan Aadhar cards, 10 applications for housing arrangement on the land allotted under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 6 houseless persons were given. Free land allotment lease, 5 ration cards, 1 foster home, 21 free medicine distribution kits including old age pension, widow pension and other schemes. The beneficiaries of the nomadic community were benefited.Dr. Surendra Singh, Block Statistics Officer Abhishek, Pragati Prasar Officer Mahendra Singh Jhala, Sarpanch and Village Development Officer, Senior Assistant Prakash Meghwal, Junior Assistant Amit Kumar Panwar along with officers and employees of Revenue Department, Medical Department, Social and Justice Department and other departments were present.
