Jhunjhunu : 9 soldiers lost their lives in an encounter with terrorists in the northern region of Doda. Ajay Singh, a resident of Bhaisavata Kalan in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan, also sacrificed his life in this encounter. The mortal remains of martyr Ajay Singh will be brought on Wednesday, July 17, where he will be given a final farewell with full military honors.
The joint operation was conducted based on special intelligence
According to officials, a joint operation of the Indian Army and JKP was launched after the presence of terrorists was detected in the northern region of Doda. The soldiers of the National Rifles and the Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police started a joint cordon and search operation in the forests of Desa at around 7.45 pm. This encounter lasted for about 20 minutes in which many soldiers were injured. Now according to the latest update, 9 soldiers lost their lives in this encounter, one of whom is martyr Ajay Singh, who is a resident of Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan. The mortal remains of martyr Ajay Singh will reach Bhaisavat of Singhana on Wednesday, after which he will be given a final farewell with full respect.
