New Delhi, December 11 (IANS). 9 out of every 10 Indian companies believe that the trend of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasing due to the advent of cloud. This information was given in a report released on Wednesday.
EY India report states that currently 67 percent of Indian companies are shifting their applications to the cloud.
According to the report, most Indian companies are adopting hybrid approach. About 80 percent of companies are managing their applications partly in the cloud and in-house. This approach allows flexibility, while also enabling companies to progress toward full cloud migration.
Abhinav Johri, Technology Consulting Partner, EY India, said, “The rapid adoption of cloud technology in India is more than just a technology upgrade. It is a transformational change that is allowing businesses to redefine their operating models, products or services. Gives authority.”
Johri further added, “By leveraging the capabilities of AI through the cloud, companies can now respond faster to emerging customer needs and market changes and deliver better value through AI-powered solutions.”
The report said that many companies have benefited significantly by incorporating AI and ML into business processes.
According to the report, 37 percent of Indian companies have cited these technologies as important in driving innovation in products and services after cloud migration.
About 25 percent of domestic companies, compared to 38 percent globally, consider skills and capability gap as a major barrier to the development of cloud-native applications.
The report said that companies consider cyber security and budget as obstacles to full cloud migration. Also said that incorporating AI and ML into business processes is a profitable deal for companies.
