Ganesh Dwar was built by Raja Jai Singh II between 1611 and 1667 AD. It is one of the 7 big and beautiful gates of Amer Ka Killa. It is also said about this gate that when the king wins the war, he enters through this gate, hence it is called Amer Entry Gate. The king used to be given a grand welcome through this gate.
