Pali : Pali China, America and Japan hoist the flag by winning hundreds of medals in the Olympic Games, but India is not able to do so. This is because Karna and Arjun, who have the ability to become the best archers, do not have gurus like Drona and Parashuram. They do not have coaches who can groom them like Major Dhyanchand. To train the players in the state, other posts including District Sports Officer have been created, but they have not been appointed. District Sports Officers in the state are only in Sikar and Jaipur. Whereas this post is vacant in other 48 districts. Similar is the condition of other posts including coach. After the retirement of the District Sports Officer in Pali district, the only employee appointed here was also given the charge of District Sports Officer. In other districts also this charge is with the office in-charge.
This is the situation in the state
35 posts of District Sports Officer are sanctioned in 50 districts of the state. Two of these are working. 10 posts of Sports Manager have been sanctioned in every division. Presently there are five appointed only in Jaipur. That too in Jaipur. Out of about 248 posts of coaches, only 70 are employed in the state. At the same time, out of about 30 sanctioned posts in the state of Games Boy, which makes arrangements before and between the games, personnel are appointed only on 10 posts. Apart from this, the posts of Sports Officer, Office Incharge, Chowkidar etc. are also vacant.
The announcement could not be implemented
For sports in the state, the previous government had announced the vacancy of 150 coaches along with conducting rural and urban Olympics. Applications for this were also submitted, but the appointment process is stuck till date. The recruitment process for 40 posts of Junior Sports Manager and 10 posts of Senior Sports Manager was also started in the state. Which has not been completed till date.
