Udaipur : Bharat Adivasi Party and BJP are at loggerheads on the issue of demand for creation of Bhil state in Southern Rajasthan. Meanwhile, the issue of Govind Guru’s demand for Bhil Pradesh being taught in a book of class nine has come into controversy. After that there was an uproar over this. After the protest by Udaipur MP Mannalal Rawat, the government has issued an order to remove this point. Bharat Adivasi Party has made the demand for Bhil Pradesh its main agenda. A fact taught in chapter four in the book ‘Rajasthan’s Freedom Movement and Bravery Tradition’ published for class 9 by Rajasthan State Textbook Board, Jaipur, has come into controversy. When opposition started to the facts taught on page number 42 of Chapter 4, Udaipur MP Mannalal Rawat wrote a letter to the state government demanding its removal. Accepting the demand of Mannalal Rawat, the state government has issued orders to remove it.
It is written in the book
In Chapter 4 of the class 9 book ‘Rajasthan’s Freedom Movement and Shaurya Tradition’, it is written on page number 42 that ‘The oppressive behavior on the part of the feudal and colonial power prevented Govind Guru and his disciples from getting freedom from feudal and colonial slavery. Inspired to plan the establishment of a Bhil state.
MP Mannalal gave this argument
MP Mannalal Rawat had written a letter to Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and lodged an objection on this. After that the Elementary Education Department has given orders to amend the curriculum. The MP says that the facts being taught in the book are beyond reality. Because Govind Guru had formed the Sampa Sabha in a non-violent manner. The aim of his movement was to awaken national consciousness. During that period, the British had forcibly written the note of Bhilraj Sthapana to file a fake case of treason against Govind Guru. It now needs to be revised.
This is why BJP and father are facing each other
In fact, Bharat Adivasi Party has set its agenda regarding the demand for Bhil state. She is also connecting the youth with her party with this issue. These people are even refusing to consider themselves Hindus. This is the reason why many leaders associated with BJP are registering their protest against the mentality of the party’s Rajkumar Roat and his associates, calling them a nation-breaking mentality.
