Sunny Deol Spotted with Sisters at Border 2 Screening
The family of legendary actor Dharmendra has been in the headlines following his demise, with rumors circulating about tensions between Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, and Hema Malini’s daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol. However, at the special screening of his movie ‘Border 2‘ in Mumbai, Sunny was seen happily posing with Esha and Ahana, putting an end to these speculations.
A Joyful Reunion
Sunny Deol met with Esha and Ahana Deol during the screening of ‘Border 2’ on Sunday. Several videos of the trio posing together went viral on social media. In the clips, Esha and Ahana stood on either side of Sunny, who had his hands placed on their shoulders. Esha sported a casual black-and-white checkered shirt with jeans, while Sunny wore an off-white shirt paired with matching trousers and a black baseball cap. Ahana was seen in a sky-blue shirt and jeans.
Public Appearance After Family Tensions
This was the first public appearance of Sunny with his sisters since the passing of their father, Dharmendra, last November. Following his death on November 24 at the age of 89, rumors of discord arose after two separate prayer meetings were held in his honor—one organized by Sunny and the other by Hema Malini.
Meanwhile, Sunny Deol’s ‘Border 2’ has received positive reviews, with the war-themed film currently running houseful across theaters in the country. Released on January 23, it has already crossed the ₹100 crore mark at the box office. Directed and co-written by Anurag Singh, ‘Border 2’ is a sequel to the acclaimed 1997 war film directed by J.P. Dutta. It showcases various fronts related to the Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy. The film features an ensemble cast, including Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh, and Medha Rana.
