Jaipur : Rajasthan’s Bhajanlal Sharma government took major decisions in the interest of employees in the cabinet meeting on Wednesday. After the cabinet meeting, Deputy CM Premchand Bairwa and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel informed about these decisions in a press conference. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel and Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa said that in the interest of state employees, approval has been given to increase the maximum limit of their gratuity and death gratuity from Rs 20 lakh to Rs 25 lakh. The minister said that now male and female employees will get the option to include either of their parents or in-laws for medical facility in RGHS on the lines of CGHS, provided the parents or in-laws are dependent and reside with the male or female employee.

In this regard, in implementation of the announcement for the budget year 2024-25, Rule 3(9) of the Rajasthan Civil Services (Medical Attendance) Rules, 2013 will be amended.

Benefit of family pension at increased rate for 10 years on the lines of central personnel

Dr. Bairwa said that if a personnel dies while in service, now the dependent will be able to get the benefit of family pension at an increased rate for 10 years like central employees. For these provisions, the notification of amendment in Rule 55 and 62 of Rajasthan Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1996 will be effective from April 1, 2024.

Outdoor facility for pensioners Rs 30 thousand

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel said that the outdoor facility for pensioners has been increased to thirty thousand. Along with this, the proposal to give the benefit of promotion to employees who have more than two children has also been approved.

Promotion will be given even if you have more than two children
The minister said that since 2002, the employees of the district court did not get the benefit of promotion if they had more than 2 children. Now, promotion and other benefits will be available even if they have more than 2 children. Taking another important decision, amendments have been approved in Rule 14A and Sub-rule 4 of 20 of Rajasthan District Court Clerical Class Establishment Rules, 1986 and Sub-rule 4 of Rule 18 and Rule 30 of Rajasthan Subordinate Court (Driver and Class IV Employees) Service Rules, 2017. These amendments will provide relief to those clerical personnel, drivers and Class IV employees of the courts who were deprived of promotion due to having more than two children. Now their promotion can be considered from the date from which their promotion became due and they can be given notional increment.

The government took decisions in the interest of the employees

After the cabinet meeting, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel said that our government has taken decisions in the interest of the employees.
The limit of outdoor treatment for RGHS employees has been increased. Currently, the outdoor medical limit was Rs 20,000, which has been increased to Rs 30,000.

Promote the production of solar energy

On solar energy, Minister Jogaram Patel said that we should all together produce more electricity. We should become a surplus state in electricity production. There were cases of land allocation to various power companies including Adani Group. We have taken a decision on that today.

Approval for giving land to Railways in Nathdwara

Information about allotment of 12 hectares of land in Dahmi Kala to promote MSME was also given in the PC held after the cabinet meeting. It was also told that the area near Nathdwara was deprived of railways, so approval has been given to give land to the railways for gauge conversion. This will increase the railway network in the state.

UPS was also considered, but no decision was made

The recent announcements made by the central government were also discussed in the cabinet meeting. But nothing has been decided yet. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel gave this information in a press conference.
