A bomb was found near this fort in Jaisalmer, the security team defused it, a sigh of relief

Jaisalmer : The Indian Army’s bomb disposal squad took away the live bomb found near Sonar Fort in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan after 33 hours. 4 officers of the Indian Army’s bomb disposal squad reached the spot on Thursday evening around 7 pm and removed the bomb from the spot and took it away in their vehicle with special arrangements. During this, police force, 2 fire brigades and 1 ambulance were present on the spot. A huge crowd of people also gathered on the spot during the process of taking the bomb. ASI Dhan Singh of the city police station said that with the joint efforts of the police and administration, the army took immediate action and removed the bomb from the residential area.

Now the bomb disposal squad of the Indian Army will take this live bomb to a deserted area and take action to defuse it. It is worth mentioning that on Wednesday a live bomb was found just 20 feet away from the perimeter of Sonar Fort. On receiving the information about the bomb, the Kotwali police reached the spot. The police closed all the nearby shops and took the entire area under their control. On Wednesday, after 33 hours, the bomb disposal squad of the Indian Army reached the spot, took the bomb in their possession and took it with them to defuse it.
