Dausa : A sensation spread in the area after the discovery of severed heads and legs of more than six cows on Gauchar land located on Rampurawas Road near Futolav turn on Dausa-Manoharpur highway in Andhi police station area on Monday. When the nearby villagers came to know about this incident, a crowd of people gathered on the spot. On suspicion of cow slaughter, the villagers informed the police and higher officials of the administration. There was anger among the people due to the incident. According to the information, at four o’clock on Monday evening, villagers saw the severed heads of cows on the vacant Gauchar land behind the under-construction Electricity Corporation Assistant Engineer office building on the road leading to Rampurawas village. When people looked at the spot, they found severed heads and legs of cows soaked in blood all around.

The place where the cow was killed and its head was found is just four kilometers away from the police station. Along with this, Dausa-Manoharpur Highway is the busiest route in the area. The police station claims to regularly patrol this route to curb illegal activities. Just three hundred feet away from the highway, the cow smugglers carried out this incident without any fear and the police had no clue.

After seeing the situation, it seems that the severed heads and remains of cows have been brought here from some other place in some vehicle. Well the matter is serious. CCTV footage installed at toll naka and other places on the highway has been called for investigation.
