A case of religious conversion came to light in this district of Rajasthan, 26 people in police custody

Bharatpur : A ruckus broke out in the alleged religious conversion meeting going on in a house near Simco railway gate number 39 on Friday morning. When the workers of Vishwa Hindu Parishad tried to stop the religious conversion process by entering the meeting, a fierce fight broke out between the two sides. This created chaos. On receiving the information, Mathura Gate police station reached the spot. Seeing the disturbance of peace, the police have detained 26 people who were creating a ruckus on the spot. Along with this, investigation has been started by registering a complaint made by a person. The police is identifying the accused by interrogating the people taken into custody.

According to the information, when the people of Hindu organizations came to know about the religious conversion meeting, a large number of their supporters Amit Chaudhary, Ankit Singh, Prashant, Mohit, Kashmira Chaudhary, Sahil, Ravi, Ritanshu, Brijesh, Bhola Jat, Deepak Kuntal, Bablu Pandit, Nischal, Bhanu Hathani etc. reached the meeting under the leadership of Vishwa Hindu Parishad District President Lakhan Pehelwan and District Minister Shyam Sundar and Bajrang Dal District Coordinator Shubham Sainthra and started opposing the organizers of the meeting. The argument that started between them turned into a fight and an atmosphere of chaos was created in the meeting.

Niranjan Singh, son of Laxman Singh, resident of Bhavanpura Hall, STC Housing Board, in the report filed in Mathura Gate Police Station, has said that on July 5 at 11 am, Ravindra Kumar, resident of Aajan Hall, Railway Gate 39, his wife and another person were conducting a Changhai Sabha in a house at Gate No. 39. About 100 men, women and children were present in the meeting. The report alleges that the said people were converting people from the lower class who had come to the meeting by luring them. They were also luring them that those who would adopt Christianity would be given a bonus of Rs. 10,000 every month.

26 people in custody

CO City Sunil Prasad said that information was received that a religious conversion meeting was going on in a house and a fight broke out there. On this, the police have detained 26 people who were getting agitated from the spot. They are being questioned. The accused are being identified so that their arrest can be ensured and legal action can be taken. Niranjan Singh has also filed an FIR in the said case. Investigation has been started on this.
