A city kirtan procession was taken out in Jaipur under the leadership of Panch Pyaras.

Jaipur : On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Devji, the first Guru of Sikhism, a city kirtan and Shobha Yatra was taken out, in which the kirtan group along with Panch Pyaras came out in the city under the leadership of Guru Granth Sahibji. While performing Nagar Kirtan with the group, Gatka Party showed feats of Shastra Vidya. Nagar Kirtan started in the afternoon from the Gurudwara located at Chaura Rasta of the park, which reached Badi Chaupar via Tripolia Bazaar, Kishan Pol Bazaar, Nehru Bazaar, Bapu Bazaar, Sanganeri Gate. From here, the city kirtan passed in front of Hawa Mahal and ended at the Gurudwara located at the Silver Mint.

Traders welcomed the city kirtan by showering flowers at various places. Sweets were distributed as Prasad to the Sangat. In the evening, Kirtan Darbar was organized in Silver Mint Gurudwara. Raggi groups performed kirtan. The congregation listened to the kirtan. Heritage Municipal Corporation Mayor Kusum Yadav participated in the Kirtan Darbar. Apart from this, Pratap Nagar Sangat also took out Nagar Kirtan on the occasion of Prakash Parv of Guru Nanak Devji. In the program, Rajasthan Sikh Samaj President Ajaypal Singh, former Minority Commission Chairman Jasbir Singh, Rajasthan Sikh Samaj Youth Wing President Devendra Singh Shanti, Gurdwara Silver Mint President Jolly Singh, Gurdwara Rajapark Secretary Gurmeet Singh, former councilor Baldev Singh and Surendra Singh and others were present. During this period, Sangat from all the Gurudwaras of the city also participated. The main Diwan will be decorated at Rajapark Gurudwara on 15th November.

Prabhat Pheri program will conclude today at Vaishali Nagar Gurudwara. The ongoing Prabhat Pheri program at Gurudwara Shri Guru Nanak Darbar Vaishali Nagar will conclude on Tuesday. Shri Akhand Path will begin at Gurdwara Sahib on Wednesday morning and will conclude at 9:30 am on November 15. After this, the robe of Nishan present in the Gurudwara will be changed. As part of Prakash Parv, the Diwan of Guru Granth Sahib will be decorated on Wednesday and Thursday evening. Sardar Sarvjit Singh Makhija, head of Gurdwara Management Committee, said that Asa Di Vaar will be recited from 7 am on November 15.
