Jaipur : Rajasthan government has made another change in the police and administrative structure and transferred 22 officers of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and 58 officers of Indian Police Service (IPS). The Personnel Department issued orders in this regard late on Sunday night. Under the order, two divisional commissioners and six district magistrates have been transferred. In the police department, Superintendents of Police of 15 districts and two Range Inspectors General of Police have been transferred. Under the transfers of IPS, Inspector General (Security) Rajesh Meena has been posted as Inspector General of Udaipur Range and Ajaypal Lamba has been posted as Inspector General of Jaipur Range from Inspector General (Udaipur Range). Biju George Joseph will remain the Police Commissioner of Jaipur.
IPS Vandita Rana will be the SP of Ajmer and Kekri
Two dynamic women IPS officers have been given the responsibility of 4 districts. 2017 batch IPS Vandita Rana has been transferred from Superintendent of Police Kotputli-Behror to Ajmer Superintendent of Police. She has also been given additional charge of Kekri district.
IPS Mamta Gupta S.M. and SP of Gangapur City
Apart from this, 2012 batch IPS Mamta Gupta has been made Superintendent of Police, Sawai Madhopur. Apart from this, she has also been given the additional charge of Superintendent of Police, District Gangapur City.
SP of 15 districts were changed
Under the order, two divisional commissioners and six district magistrates have been transferred. In the police department, 15 district superintendents of police and two range police inspectors have been transferred. IAS Dr Pratibha Singh has been removed from the post of divisional commissioner of Pali and made divisional commissioner of Jodhpur and Executive Director of Rajasthan Urban Development and Infrastructure Corporation (RUDICO) Rajendra Vijay has been made divisional commissioner of Kota.
