Taking action, Sriganganagar : ADM Ashok Sangwa has imposed a fine of Rs 2 lakh on Raju Ram, son of Bhanwarlal, owner of ‘Balaji Mishthan Bhandar’ located in Rawala.
ADM Ashok Sangwa said that during the inspection, a sample of samosa was taken from Balaji Sweets Store. The sample was sent to the food testing laboratory in Bikaner for testing, where the test confirmed non-standard levels of soybean oil used in samosas.
ADM Sangwa said that compromise on the quality of food items will not be tolerated under any circumstances. He said that shopkeepers have been given strict instructions to manufacture and sell food items as per the standards.
