Bharatpur : Kama Police has arrested cyber fraudsters in Rajasthan’s Deeg district under Operation Antivirus. These fraudsters were carrying out online cyber fraud in the forests of Paldi village. The police made this arrest on the information of an informer. In which 9 cyber fraudsters were arrested, out of which 4 are minors. These cyber fraudsters used to carry out fraud by putting Home Minister Amit Shah’s photo DP on their WhatsApp.

Police officer Manish Sharma said that under the direction of IG Rahul Prakash and SP Rajesh Kumar Meena, a campaign has been launched to nab cyber fraudsters under Operation Antivirus. On Monday, information was received through an informer that some cyber fraudsters are committing online cyber fraud in the forests of village Paldi. On this information, Kama police took immediate action and arrested 9 cyber fraudsters from the spot. Out of these, 4 are minors. On searching all of them, 9 mobile phones, fake SIM cards were recovered from them. Not only this, when everyone’s mobile was checked, Home Minister Amit Shah’s photo was found as DP on their WhatsApp and fraud chat was found.
9 cyber thugs arrested
Police further said that during interrogation it was found that all these cyber thugs used to torture innocent people through WhatsApp by showing them pornographic videos and used to record the video of the person in front. Then by introducing themselves as police officers or big leaders, they used to intimidate that person and extract huge amount of money in their fake accounts. After that, they used to withdraw that money with the help of ATM card on 20% commission. After these revelations, the police is interrogating all these accused thoroughly. So that their other accomplices can be identified.
More than 800 cyber thugs were sent behind bars
Let us tell you that as soon as IG Rahul Prakash took charge in Bharatpur Range, he started Operation Antivirus campaign against cyber fraud in the district, under which the police of Deeg district has been continuously taking action against cyber fraud. Under Operation Antivirus campaign, the police has so far put more than 800 cyber fraudsters behind bars from Deeg Mewat area. Along with this, the houses built on government land grabbed with the money of cyber fraud have also been identified and razed to the ground. According to the police, 17 percent of the country’s cyber fraud cases used to happen inside Deeg Mewat, which the police has reduced to about 4 percent by taking action under Operation Antivirus campaign.
