Jaipur : The subordinate court of the capital sentenced Kiran Prajapat to five years of imprisonment in the case of forcing his fiancée to commit suicide, while imposing a fine of Rs 50,000 on her lover. Additional Sessions Court No. 3 of Jaipur Metropolitan-II region gave this order. Kishan Lal committed suicide by jumping in front of a train on the Asalpur-Jobner railway line on 6 February 2021.
The prosecution told the court that the deceased’s father lodged a report in the GRP Phulera police station in this case. It was told that his only son Kishan was engaged on October 11, 2020, the fiancée was unhappy with this relationship. The girl, along with her lover, threatened to kill Kishan if he did not break the engagement. Troubled by this, Kishan committed suicide, which was revealed by the suicide note found in Kishan Lal’s coaching bag. At the same time, the girl’s defense said that she did not harass him, she should be acquitted.
