Jaipur : A horrific road accident took place in the Bagru area of the capital Jaipur today. This accident took place on the Jaipur-Ajmer highway under the Dahamikhurd police station area, where two trailers and a milk tanker collided. Due to this accident, there was a long jam on the highway and the situation became very serious at the spot. After the accident, a trailer suddenly caught fire. The fire was so fierce that the driver and the helper of the trailer got trapped in the cabin and were burnt alive.
There was a long traffic jam on the Jaipur highway
As soon as the fire was reported, the team of firefighters reached the spot and worked hard to control the fire. The fire brigade team got complete control over the fire after hours of hard work. Immediately after the accident, long queues of vehicles formed on the road, causing a traffic jam on the highway. Due to the jam, the passengers had to face a lot of trouble.
“Lightning struck and the ground cracked”
After getting information about the accident, Thanadhikari Harishchandra Solanki and his team reached the spot and started the rescue work. The police reached the spot and started the work of removing the jam and investigating the causes of the accident. Local people said that after the collision of the three big vehicles, there was such a loud explosion as if there was a lightning strike and the ground had cracked. But when we went to the spot and saw the condition, it was even more painful. The driver and the cleaner trapped in the cabin were calling for help, but both of them were burnt alive.
Jaipur police told how the whole incident happened
Police said that two tankers collided with each other and then a milk tanker collided with them. After this collision, the milk tanker fell into the ditch. It took more than 1 hour for the police to rescue the driver trapped in it. All three big vehicles were removed from the road with the help of two big cranes. Then the traffic could be cleared in about 3 hours. One truck was loaded with construction material. People had to face problems due to gravel and bricks spread on the road.
