Jhalawar : A case of suicide by hanging from a tree by a married woman and her lover has come to light in the forests of Garada in Bhalata police station area of Jhalawar district. Both had fled from their house two days ago. Due to which the families of both were searching for them. Late Sunday evening, the police received information about two bodies hanging from a tree in the forests of Garada. After this, the police reached the spot and took possession of both the bodies and kept them in the mortuary of the hospital where their post-mortem will be done on Monday. Also, during interrogation in the vicinity, both were identified as Sushil and Yogita. Regarding the case, police station in-charge Kishore Shekhawat said that on Sunday evening, information was received that the bodies of a young man and a young woman were hanging from a tree. On receiving the information, the bodies were sent to the mortuary of the hospital after reaching the spot. After this, on enquiring around, the young man was identified as Sushil Meena (22) and the girl was identified as Yogita (22). Yogita was married in Deoli only two months ago.
When the smell came, it was revealed
Police said that on Sunday evening around 5:30 pm, people passing through Garda forest smelled a foul smell. When people went inside the forest, they were shocked and saw two bodies hanging from a tree. Everyone immediately informed the police. Police reached the spot and found that the girl’s body was hanging from the tree with a dupatta, while the boy’s body was lying below. Police said that the dupatta had become wet due to rain, due to which the young man’s body fell down.
He made a video before committing suicide
Giving further information, the police said that both of them ran away from home two days ago i.e. on July 12 without telling anyone, after which both of them made a video. In this, both are seen holding knives in their hands. They made this video and uploaded it on social media. Both of them used a motorcycle to escape. That too was found lying in the forest about one and a half kilometers away from the incident spot.
Postmortem of both the bodies will be done on Monday
At present, the police has started investigating the case. However, no report has been lodged with the police by the family of the lovers yet. The police has taken the bodies of both of them into custody and kept them in the mortuary of the hospital, where the post-mortem of both the bodies will be conducted on Monday.
