These days, the name of farmer Vishnu Kumar is in the news in Rajasthan. Who is a resident of Barana village of Asind subdivision of Bhilwara. Who started organic farming on the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and today they are earning lakhs of rupees annually.
Starting with organic farming in green house
They are earning lakhs of rupees every year by producing cucumber and cucumber by doing organic farming in green house. Not only this, he is also growing traditional crops like wheat and other vegetables in other fields through organic farming. To start this farming, Vishnu first bought 5-6 desi cows and established vermi compost and started the work of making organic medicines by using the manure produced from it in organic farming.
Vishnu Kumar is doing farming by setting up three green houses
After this, Vishnu set up three green houses and started preparing cucumber using his own organic medicines. In the very first year, 100 tonnes of cucumber were produced. Which is available in the market at Rs 20 to 40 per kg. It started selling accordingly. There was a profit of Rs 15 to 20 lakh in the very first year.
Has been honored 4 times at state and district level
Vishnu says that the biggest advantage of cucumber prepared from organic farming is that as soon as it is taken to the market, it gets sold immediately. For his organic farming, Vishnu has received honors twice at the district level and twice at the state level. At present, he has also been made a member of the management of Maharana Pratap Agricultural University from the farmer quota.
