Rajasthan : Now the period of severe cold is about to begin in Rajasthan. The minimum temperature in the state had reached 6 degrees on Wednesday night. According to the latest forecast issued by the Meteorological Department, the temperature in the state will fall further in the coming days. According to the information given by the Meteorological Department based in Jaipur, during the last 24 hours in Rajasthan, the minimum temperature has dropped by two to three degrees Celsius in many parts of the state. An official of the Meteorological Department gave this information.
Mercury reached 6 degrees in Sikar on Wednesday
Jaipur Meteorological Center in-charge Radheshyam Sharma said that the lowest minimum temperature was recorded in Sikar of Shekhawati on Wednesday night. He told that the minimum temperature in Sikar was recorded at six degrees Celsius. The official said that the minimum temperature in the state is likely to drop by two to three degrees Celsius in the coming two days.
Western disturbance will be effective from December 7
The weather center in-charge said that on December 7, a western disturbance will affect Northern India and from December 9, the effect of northern winds coming from the Himalayas will start. Sharma said that due to this effect of weather, the minimum temperature is expected to fall further in the western and northern parts of the state from December 9.
Severe cold will start from next week
According to information received from the Meteorological Department, due to the influence of northern winds on December 9, the maximum temperature in most parts of the state is likely to drop by two to three degrees Celsius. The official said that the weather will remain dry in most parts of the state for the coming one week, however, due to the effect of western disturbance on December 7-8, there is a possibility of partly cloudy sky in the western and northern parts of the state. In most parts of the state, the maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded between 23.7 degrees Celsius to 30.2 degrees Celsius.
Sikar and Churu remained coldest in Rajasthan on Wednesday
According to the department, on Wednesday night the minimum temperature was 6 degrees in Sikar, 6.5 degrees in Churu, 7.4 degrees in Sangriya, 8.3 degrees in Pilani, 9.8 degrees in Alwar, 10 degrees each in Bhilwara- Chittorgarh, 10.5 degrees in Dabok, 10.5 degrees in Anta. 10.4 degrees Celsius was recorded and 10.5 degrees Celsius was recorded in Dabok (Udaipur).
